FRIENDS OF Drury School news (f.o.d.s.)

FODS is similar to a PTA. We are a group of dedicated parents who raise money for the school. Fundraising is necessary as Drury School is a decile 8 school, meaning we receive considerably less government funding than lower decile schools. This makes fundraising a necessary part of the school budget as it provides for the extra’s that compliment your child’s education.

FODS organise several events throughout the year to raise money for Drury School. From raffles and shows to Calf Club Day, there's lots of fun to be had for the whole family. We are always looking for new fundraising ideas, donations for auctions and good deals. Let us know if you can help!

We meet regularly in the school staffroom and are always looking for new members to come along and get involved. So, keep an eye our for when meetings are held in the regular school newsletter. Any parent can attend as many or few meetings as they like. This is also an excellent way to meet other parents and you’re always welcome!
