Intermediate (Years 5-6)
Welcome to Room 17
What an amazing way to start the year.
It has been a super busy term with trips to Kariotahi for Surf Safety, a walk around Drury, cricket at Bruce Pulman, Cycle Safety at school, not to mention all the hard work that has been happening in class.
Thank you to all the parents and family who have helped to make these trips possible, we couldn’t do it without you.
We look forward to doing it all again next term.
Welcome to Room 18…naturally the best class in all of Drury School!
There are twenty seven students in the class this year and we are looking forward to having a great time as we learn new things together. My email address, should any parents wish to contact me is firstname.lastname@example.org
Already this year we have enjoyed learning about World War One together. We particularly enjoyed our “Day in the Trenches” when our classroom was transformed into a battlefield and the students became Privates in a platoon for the day.
We were even priviledge to have a special troop inspection from General Morris and Major Glasson.
Here is a link to a Gallipoli website that we all found particularly interesting http://www.abc.net.au/innovation/gallipoli/gallipoli2.htm#
